In order to give tenured and tenure-track faculty the opportunity to obtain valuable outside input on their grant proposals, the College of Human Ecology will pay an honorarium of $1,000 to an outside expert in the field who is willing to read and provide comment on faculty proposals. Priority will be given to junior faculty and new investigators; however all faculty are welcome to apply.

To apply for such funding, complete this form and forward it to the Associate Dean for Research and Outreach (nmw2@cornell.edu). Generally it is advisable to choose a well- established investigator in the scientific area of the grant as a reviewer, particularly one who has served on a scientific review panel. The reviewer may not be a Cornell Faculty member. Please include a short CV, weblink, or biosketch of the person you would like to review your proposal.
