Biography

Meghan Orman is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University. Her research explores early childhood educator health and well-being and focuses on developing community-based interventions that support young children and their caregivers. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a Fulbright-NSF Arctic Research Fellow studying nature connection in Icelandic children. With a background in philosophy and experience as a Montessori toddler teacher, she is committed to advancing just and equitable early childhood ecosystems through research, teaching, and community engagement.
