Currently serve as a facilitator in partnership with Dr. Valerie Reyna's Gist-Enhanced Reducing the Risk (RTRGIST) Program.  The RTRgist program is for teenagers (ages 13-19) to learn about making healthy decisions in two specific areas: sex/sexual health as well as nutrition and fitness.  The study originally focused on sexual health and is based on the Reducing the Risk curriculum previously identified as effective by the Center of Disease Control. It was later modified to include a nutrition/fitness component.

The RTRgist curriculum consists of seven 2-hour sessions plus a pretest, post-test, and three-six-and 12-month follow-up questionnaires to assess effectiveness. It involves direct instruction and experimental activities such as role-playing to build skills in refusal, negotiation, and communication. The curriculum is delivered by trained instructors.
