This bi-annual lecture is presented by the Department of Design + Environmental Analysis (D+EA) as a gift from the Hillier family to promote discourse between interior design and architecture. This year Kathryn H. Anthony, Ph.D., ACSA Distinguished Professor, Illinois Architecture College of Fine & Applied Arts will give a lecture discussing her latest book: Defined by Design: The Surprising Power of Hidden Gender, Age, and Body Bias in Everyday Products and Places. Prior to the lecture, annual DEA student awards are presented.
