The generosity of DNS faculty, family, alumni, and friends enables the Division to provide financial support to recognize and advance the development of some of our outstanding undergraduate students as they pursue research, internships, and experiential learning.

Professor Carole Ayres Bisogni Early Career Research Ignition Award

This award honors Professor Bisogni's legacy as a distinguished researcher, professor, and advocate for students. The award provides support for summer research through stipends of up to $5,000 for undergraduate majors (GPHS, HBHS, and NS) in the Division of Nutritional Sciences within Cornell Human Ecology.

Diversity and Equity in Nutrition Research Summer Stipend

This stipend provides funds up to $6,000 to undergraduate DNS majors (GPHS, HBHS, NS) for summer research in nutritional science at Cornell. This opportunity is only open to students whose racial or ethnic identities are underrepresented in the extramural scientific workforce.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

DNS is also proud to support engaged and experiential learning opportunities for students in Global and Public Health to deepen and apply their learning beyond the classroom through the following awards:
