The moment you graduate from Human Ecology, you become a member of the Human Ecology Alumni Association, joining a diverse network of devoted alumni from across the world whose underlying bond is strengthened through their shared experiences at Human Ecology and Cornell.

As a member, you will always have a home at Human Ecology, and we hope you’ll take the opportunity to explore the many meaningful ways you can reconnect with us. Whether you graduated more than 50 years ago, or your journey as an Alumni Association member has just begun, we are excited to help you reap the lifelong benefits of what it means to be a Cornellian.

Human Ecology Alumni Association Board of Directors

The HEAA Board of Directors, your voice and the voice of 20,000 other Human Ecology Alumni Association members, comprises more than 30 alumni volunteers who were nominated to fulfill this important responsibility. The Board of Directors has the distinct honor of working on your behalf and strives to represent your interests, as well as support the priorities of the College, its students and faculty.

The HEAA Board currently conducts its work through four teams:

  • The Career Networking & Student Grants Team, which aims to advance and expand the professional network for our students;
  • The Alumni Outreach Team, which helps to promote alumni connections and engagement through communications and activities;
  • The Alumni Recognition Team, which works to support fundraising efforts, stewardship, and alumni recognition;
  • The Membership Team, which supports new board members and maintains engagement and communication with current members.

In addition to the work taking place in each of these teams, the Board of Directors is always looking for more ways to connect with you. If you have ideas and insights you would like to share with the HEAA Board, please email HEaad@cornell.edu to tell us what is on your mind. If you are interested in learning about how you can join the HEAA Board, please read more about our nomination process and other volunteer opportunities.
