Ovarian Morphology in Girls (OMG!) | Rochester, NY

  • Purpose: To understand how the ovaries change during puberty in adolescents at risk for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
  • Eligibility: Adolescents between the ages of 9-17 who had their very first period within the last 11 months, and whose mothers have been diagnosed with PCOS
  • Time Commitment: 5 study visits (~60 minutes each) over 2 years
  • Study Includes: Belly ultrasound, blood draws and keeping a menstrual diary
  • Study Location: University of Rochester Strong Fertility Center (Rochester, NY)
  • Honorarium: Up to $150 cash
