CFC 2021 Fashion Show

The Cornell Fashion Collective 2021 Films and Lookbook serves as the first ever virtual fashion show the organization has produced. Between the COVID-19 pandemic and the changing landscape of the fashion industry, finding an alternative to a runway show — and a way to reach as wide an audience as possible — was imperative.

It was also important to capture the collections in a medium that can be viewed for decades to come. As society shifts back to old routines and forward to new innovations, these collections will remain documents of how fashion and art operated over an academic year of social distancing, masks and virtual classes.

Each collection functions on its own, but together they represent a larger theme: creativity during a time of great change.
