Sloan launched a health care information technology boot camp in 2015 to prepare prospective students for the transformative role of data and information technology on health care and health care managers.

You will observe and learn from expert practitioners in the New York City. You will observe, for example, a physician use the Epic electronic medical record system (EMR) and learn how health care executives have implemented EMR.

You also will meet with leaders of start-up firms, venture capitalists and industry experts. And you will have the opportunity to discuss innovations with faculty from Weill Cornell Medicine and Cornell Tech, bioinformatics master’s students and master’s of health technology students.
