Martha J. Sherman (“Marty”) graduated from Cornell’s Sloan Program in 1975 with a Masters in Professional Studies – Hospital and Health Services Administration. Her undergraduate degree is in Hotel Administration (Cornell, ’73). While she spent part of her career in hospital operations with a 4-hospital group in Southern NJ, the bulk of Marty’s career has been in health care consulting, where she performed strategic planning, operations, and financial feasibility studies. In more recent years her consulting practice evolved into feasibility studies for seniors’ housing. Marty has stayed connected to Cornell over the years through a variety of volunteer roles both at the class and regional club levels, as well as serving on several alumni boards. At the current time she is the secretary of the Sloan Alumni Association Board.
