My research interests focus on the role of perceived partner responsiveness (PPR: how much people perceive that their romantic partners understand, validate and care for them) in shaping well-being and relationship functioning for individuals and their relationship partners. Also, I am interested in whether affect regulation might be a potential mechanism explaining the relation between PPR and well-being.
