Biography
Alex Roehrkasse is a postdoctoral associate at the National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect. His primary affiliation is now in the Department of Sociology at Duke University.
Alex's research focuses on inequality, families, crime and punishment, and quantitative and historical methods. He is especially interested in the ways that families interact with the legal, criminal justice, and financial systems, with consequences for racial and gender equity and child welfare. Alex also works on developing new, large-scale sources of historical administrative data.
