This year's Virtual HumEcathon will take place over Zoom on Friday, April 30 - from 4:00pm - 5:45pm EDT and Saturday, May 1 from 9:30am - 3:00pm EDT. We have responded to requests for increased time to brainstorm solutions by making this an exciting two-day event! 

TOPIC: "How can Human Ecology promote diversity, equity, and inclusion both inside and outside the classroom"

What is the HumEcathon?: The HumEcathon is a competitive event designed to bring together HumEc students from multiple different majors to design an interdisciplinary solution to a current pressing human problem in the effort to achieve the College’s mission of improving the everyday lives of human beings.

Teams must consist of two different human ecology majors, but the rest of your team can be students from other majors/colleges.
