An INSiGHT Spring Exhibition took place on May 5, 2017 and provided attendees the opportunity to learn more about the NutriPhone and to get their Vitamin D and Iron Status checked in partnership with VitaScan. Attendees were able to find out more about the work of the Engineers for World Health undergraduate group and meet the graduate students and postdoctoral fellows as they presented work on the NutriPhoneFeverPhoneKS-Detect, and Biofortification projects.

On October 21, 2016, INSiGHT held a day long event organized by Professor Jere Haas (Nancy Schlegel Meinig Professor Emeritus of Maternal and Child Nutrition) and Dr. Saurabh Mehta (Associate Professor of Global Health, Epidemiology, and Nutrition) that recognized 2016 World Food Prize Laureates, Jan Low (1994 Cornell PhD in Agricultural Economics) and Howdy Bouis (Director of HarvestPlus) for their contributions to the development, research and promotion of biofortification as a strategy to alleviate iron, zinc and vitamin A deficiencies in developing countries. It also showcased the many Cornell scientists who have contributed to biofortification research that was the focus of the work recognized by the World Food Prize committee.
