POSTPONED TO APRIL 2021: What the Eyes Don't See: An Evening with Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha
In April 2021, The Global Health Student Advisory board along with the Global Health Program are bringing Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha to Cornell to discuss her book What the Eyes Don't See, a memoir that tells the story of her research which exposed the widespread lead poisoning in Flint, Michigan's drinking water. Dr. Mona is a physician who works at the intersections between environmental justice, public health, and medicine.
This event is open to the Cornell community with the hopes of creating a dialogue about the roles that environmental justice, health, and equity play in our own lives. There will also be free copies of What the Eyes Don't See for individuals who are interested in learning more about Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha’s work.
