Stone works as the Director of Strategic Development and Proposals for OCHIN, a non-profit IT innovation network that serves community health centers.

In just the past month, we have been working at record speed to stand up virtual care for clinics to deliver care to our complex patients while avoiding transmission. We also just launched a partnership on COVID-19 surveillance with the CDC and a national consortium with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We are designing research studies on the impact of COVID on preventive care for patients needing complex care management, pre and postnatal care, and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, respiratory failure and heart disease. We hope to quickly make these findings public as attention will need to ensure delivery of high-quality care to vulnerable populations.

OCHIN also built an electronic health record application so providers using EPIC healthcare can access patient records (e.g., allergies, medications, medical history) no matter where they are standing, including Washington State’s makeshift hospitals and fever clinics.
