Women in Public Policy

Cornell University’s Women in Public Policy (WIPP), founded in 1994, is a graduate student organization dedicated to furthering the understanding of women’s role in public affairs and policy both in the United States and abroad.
Its mission is to encourage the professional integration of women into public policy roles. WIPP aims to generate awareness and understanding of economic, social, political and historical issues in gender and how these issues intersect in public affairs and policy.
WIPP fosters leadership and personal relationships through professional development, community outreach and cultural exchange. It organizes debates, discussions, conferences, speaker series, and educational and networking opportunities, as well as social activities.
