Spring Open House

Every March we host an Open House that features panel discussions and presentations by CIPA faculty, staff and alumni.

Take a Virtual Walking Tour

We understand that not everyone can make it to campus for a visit.  To get a taste of the CIPA program and a brief tour of the University and downtown Ithaca, take a virtual walking tour with some of our CIPA students.

Arriving on Campus

You can drive to Ithaca in about four hours from New York City, Toronto, and Philadelphia, and six hours from Boston and Washington, D.C. Ithaca also is accessible by air, bus or train. A map of the campus and other information about visiting the campus.

Use our searchable campus map to locate all the places you want to visit on campus. Then download and print a campus map to highlight your destinations and take along on your visit.

Hotel Ithaca is conveniently located just minutes from the campus. For other accommodations, Visit Ithaca maintains a full list of hotels, motels, B&Bs and inns, and more in the area.

Campus parking requires permits for all parking areas, except those with meters or Parkmobile signs. For more information, visit the parking website.

Be sure to check the weather before visiting so that you can dress accordingly for your visit and tours.

While you’re in the neighborhood, check out our botanic gardens, arboretum, beautiful Cayuga Lake (the largest of the Finger Lakes), Fall Creek Gorge and Cascadilla Gorge, and the 150 waterfalls that flow through the town. And don’t forget the local award-winning wineries.
