The Cornell Institute for Public Affairs (CIPA) offers a two year program of study leading to the Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. With an interdisciplinary curriculum, our students have access to faculty members across Cornell University, which is among the largest and most diverse of the Ivy League universities.

CIPA operates within the College of Human Ecology and offers the cutting-edge training required for professionals to improve lives. Leveraging extraordinary faculty and staff resources, CIPA students benefit from the College’s rich breadth and depth of intellectual expertise.

CIPA graduates pursue successful careers across a wide range of spaces, including education, healthcare, criminal justice, sustainability, and economic policy. If you want to solve some of the world’s most complex public policy challenges, CIPA should be the next step in your career.
