Leadership in Translational Research

The College of Human Ecology uses a translational research model to better link social and behavioral science research to extension and outreach, creating a more seamless link between science and service. This linkage between research and practice presents opportunities for researchers, community-based organizations, Cornell Cooperative Extension associations, and New York citizens to engage in mutally beneficial partnerships which result in practical soltions to complex real world problems.
