Some of the commercial fashion software available for pattern making is listed below.
- Dress Shop, from Livingsoft, makes custom-fit patterns from measurements, or uses standard sizes. No pattern-drafting skills are necessary. Garments are designed by making choices from a built-in selection of features, and by manipulating measurements.
- Flash N'Fashion, from Media Motion Publications, is a simple program that allows users to design outfits for 12 and 18-inch dolls. They can be viewed as an on-screen fashion show, printed as paper doll outfits, or printed as sewing patterns. Step-by-step instructions for cutting and assembling a garment using the patterns are illustrated, along with video clips of basic sewing skills. - Fittingly Sew, from , can be used to design custom patterns, as provision is made for adjusting fullness, pleats, darts, and shape of curves. It also contains built-in templates for designs.
