4-H Clothing and Textiles

Approximately 9,000 New York youth are enrolled in 4-H clothing and textiles projects. The majority are county directed by key volunteer clothing leaders or committees. Youth learn sewing, computer, and decision-making skills. They gain experience in design, consumership, presentation, and evaluation.

These Cornell Cooperative Extension publications for youth (grades 4-12) are free.  Contact Charlotte Coffman at 607-255-2009.
