Biographical Statement:
Tom has been a Lecturer in PAM since the Fall 2007 semester. Prior to joining Cornell University, from 2003-2007, he was a Lecturer in the economic department at the University of Chicago. Prior to beginning a Ph.D in 1998, he worked in various manufacturing positions in Canada, New York, and South Carolina. |

Current Research Activities:
I have been following up on previous research to do with the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2005. The current research estimates the impact of the more restricted personal bankruptcy rules on the levels of foreclosure. Though not yet completed, the work is an invited by the journal Banking and Financial Services Report. The due date for this work is February 6, 2009. |
