Biographical Statement:
Karene Booker manages Outreach & Extension initiatives in the Department of Human Development that are designed to make the lessons from faculty research more accessible to Cooperative Extension Educators and other professionals in the field. She holds a M.S. in Organization Development from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. She joined the Department of Human Development in 2006 after working extensively in human services policy, planning, and administration. The focus of her career has been on using social science research and evidence-based tools to foster the development of sound public policies and to formulate, implement, manage and evaluate public sector programs. |

Manage the HD Outreach & Extension program
Plan and implement communications strategies, including producing Human Development Today e-News
Oversee the development of educational materials including web presentations and outreach publications
Design and develop the HD Outreach & Extension website and distance learning opportunities |
