The Sloan Program in Health Administration

Degree Offerings:

The Sloan Program offers two degree options, each with slightly different application procedures and identical academic requirements:

• Standard Program: Two year Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree for students who have already completed their undergraduate degree. (On-line application here)
• Bachelors/MHA Program: Combined Bachelors/MHA program for current Cornell undergraduates. (No on-line application for this degree program)
• MHA/MBA Dual Degree Program: Dual three-year combined MHA/MBA program in cooperation with the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. 

The standard MHA program, the MHA portions of the five-year program, and the MHA/MBA program are all accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME)

Who Should Apply?

The Sloan Program seeks applicants with all levels of experience and academic preparation who have a strong desire to hold leadership positions in the health care industry. Some training in statistics, accounting, and economics, as well as familiarity with basic computer applications is desirable. Superior oral and written communication skills are strongly recommended. Previous job and/or community service experience is a plus.
