Professor Richard Canfield directs the Capital Semester Program. With the assistance of Cornell staff members and other affiliates, Professor Canfield works to tailor each student’s academic efforts and legislative experiences to fit with their longer-term academic and professional aspirations, ensuring that each student has a high quality experience.
Capital Semester Alumni have achieved success in academia and beyond. Former interns have attended some of the most prestigious graduate schools in the country, and they attribute a great deal of their success to participation in the program.
