Undergraduate Honors in Human Development The Human Development Honors Program is an excellent choice for students who want to prepare for graduate work in psychology, sociology, neuroscience, medicine and related fields. It is a two year program designed to give talented undergraduates the opportunity to formulate and carry out an independent research investigation under the supervision of a member of HD department faculty. Students who are interested in the honors program should start preparing in their sophomore year because of the additional course requirements in research methods and statistics. Students who successfully complete the program graduate with Honors in Human Development and the Honors designation is recorded on their official Cornell University academic record.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE DURING THE JUNIOR YEAR. Interested students can still inquire about the program after the deadline by contacting the program director.
