The majority of children in this country receive child care services from family, friends, and neighbors, also known as kith and kin care or informal care. Much of this care is unlicensed and unregulated, and there is considerable variation in the level of quality. The Cornell Early Childhood Program has a special interest in learning more about this type of care and the ways in which it can be improved. Current studies are: |
