• A letter of recommendation is required for your application to be considered. If you do not upload a letter with this application one MUST BE SUBMITTED electronically, as an email attachment, to heaad@cornell.edu. Include your name and "HEAA Grant Letter of Recommendation" in the subject line.

Amount requested from the Human Ecology Alumni Association Student Grants Fund:

If your grant is approved, you will be required to provide a written report on your experience, to be shared with the Human Ecology Alumni Association Board of Directors. Please refer to the Grants Guidelines for more information.

Please also note that the IRS considers fellowships/scholarships/grants to be reportable and taxable income, although no tax is withheld at the time of payment to students.
