The Helen Bull Vandervort Alumni Achievement Award has been presented annually since 1983 to alumni of the College of Human Ecology who have demonstrated those qualities exemplified by the late Helen Bull Vandervort ‘26. This award seeks to recognize alumni who have shown outstanding performance in the following areas: success in the nominee’s chosen profession, how the nominee utilizes the education gained at the College of Human Ecology or how his or her accomplishments reflect the mission and values of the College, service to the College or the University, professional, volunteer, and civic activities or accomplishments, and achievements and honors as recognized by one’s peers.
