The College of Human Ecology provides three advanced CAD labs for the instructional and research use of its students and faculty. All labs are open 24/7 for students with access to the building and rooms.

Located in MVR 151, it is one of the most advanced student computer labs on the Cornell campus.
Facilities include:
PCs: 27 Dell Precision 380 workstations featuring 3 GHz dual core processors with 2 GB of RAM. They also have high end Nvidia Quadro graphics cards with a large 24" display. All computers come equipped with DVD/CD writers and 9-in-1 flash card readers.
Tablets: Wacom display/drawing and drawing tablets
Scanners: 2 tabloid size flatbed scanners, high-resolution Nikon slide scanner, large format Calcomp digitizer
Printers: Two tabloid size laser printers, Xerox Phaser Color Printer, HP 5100 Black and White Printer
Large format printers: Two large format Hewlett-Packard color inkjet printers. These printers accommodate large rolls of paper, plastic (e.g., Tyvek®) and textiles, including silk.

Located in MVR 218, it includes:
- PCs: 19 Dell GX270 workstations featuring 3GHz processors with 1 gigabyte of RAM, DVD/CD writers and 20" displays
- Wacom drawing tablets
- 2 tabloid size flatbed scanners
- A large format Calcomp digitizer
- Ouput devices, including:
- A high quality tabloid size color inkjet printer
- Color and black and white laser printers
- A black and white plotter
- Software, including:
Located in MVR 402, it includes:
- PC's: 18 Dell Precision 470 workstations equipped with 1 gigabytge of RAM, Intel Xeon 3 GHz processors, Nvidia Quadro graphics cards, 20" displays and DVD/CD writers.
- Two flatbed scanners
- Printers, including a tabloid size HP color laser and a black and white laser
- Software, including:
- AutoCAD
- Architectural Studio 3DS MAX and 3DS VIZ
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Adobe Premiere Pro
