New York City is your campus and textbook in the Urban Semester Program. Through fieldwork you learn ethnographic methods by investigating the character of the internship and professional setting of your choice, community service and a select topic of New York City urban issues. Earn 15 credits while you take part in a three day internship that you choose, carry out community service in a school setting, and participate in an investigation of urban neighborhoods and communities gaining insights into the real New York City. Learn through ethnographic investigation by writing ethnographies of your internship or medical rotation, neighborhood and community exploration and community service.

Live, work, and study in New York City as a member of the Urban Semester Program.
