AlumNet, a web-based interactive database of Human Ecology alumni, is valuable to both current students and alumni.

• It enables current students to connect with alumni for networking, career information, and job-search advice.
• It allows alumni desiring a career change to network with each other, and provides a database of contact information for those just wishing to connect with colleagues.

AlumNet is interactive, allowing alumni to input and update their information whenever they choose. Alumni can also choose to attach their resumes to their records so that users can see and learn from their career progressions.

Users can search AlumNet on a variety of categories such as: career field, employer name, major, and more!

Participation in AlumNet is completely voluntary. Alumni can share information such as:

• what skills are necessary for a typical day
• what academic and experiential preparation is recommended
• how to effectively market oneself for a particular type of career.

AlumNet is only available to Human Ecology students and alumni.
