You'll learn as much from the students you work, study, and live with as you do from the courses you take.

Human Ecology undergraduates come from across the country and around the world for a broad foundation in the liberal arts with an interdisciplinary approach and an applied focus on the human condition. One-third of our undergraduates are transfers who began their education elsewhere, and the college has special programs for students over the age of twenty-four.

Human Ecology students take advantage of resources available to all Cornell students including seventeen libraries, independent research opportunities, clubs, sports, and more. They live, work and take classes with students from across campus, studying with world-class faculty from all seven undergraduate colleges. The college's thriving student-run organizations include the Association for Students of Color, the Pre-Law Undergraduate Society (PLUS), Preprofessional Association toward Careers in Health (PATCH), Human Ecology Voices, Human Ecology Ambassadors, along with many others. In each group, students gain leadership experience and collaboration skills as they investigate career opportunities, work to foster opportunities for other students, volunteer locally, and shape the college's priorities.

We invite you to get to know some of our students better.
