|Current Research Activities:|
I am interested in how nutrition can alter health outcomes on a population level. I appreciate aspects of diversity and idea-sharing in research. Previously for my undergraduate honors thesis, I investigated satisfaction levels of pregnant women with an online weight management intervention in Rochester, NY. Currently I am in the Cassano research group. My dissertation research will focus on how specific nutrients, such as Vitamin D, ω-3 fatty acids, and fiber, interact with genes to affect lung functions using cohort study data from across the U.S and Europe.
