Design in Focus:

Saturday, September 8th

You are invited to attend a special information session on Saturday, September 8, 2012 to learn about our Design & Environmental Analysis  (options in interior design; facilities planning and management; human factors and ergonomics) and our Fiber Science & Apparel Design (options in apparel design, fashion design management; fiber science) programs. Register now as space is limited.

This program focuses on the first year experience; prospective transfers should consider attending our Transfer Day event.

- Do you see problem-solving as a creative endeavor?

- Are you interested in the process, not just the outcome?

- Do you discover meaning in the materials, spaces, and influences around you?

Why pursue design in the College of Human Ecology? Human Ecology students interested in design careers understand the impact that design has on how we interact with materials and everyday objects, and perform within spaces.  Beyond problem-solving, our students use planning, resource management, changing technologies, and the strategic use of creativity to transform society.  Students pursue a liberal arts foundation that informs and inspires their studio and design work.

Learn to see and anticipate the possibilities.
