Capital Semester – Intern for the New York State legislators in Albany while taking course-work related to policy and politics.

Cornell-in-Washington – Take courses from Cornell faculty, conduct individual research projects, and work as externs in Washington, D.C in this University-wide program.

Exchange Programs - The College of Human Ecology has Exchange programs with three leading Universities, and is in the process of signing a new agreement with a fourth in Paris. We have exchange programs with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia, Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand, and are in the process of signing an agreement with L’École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, in Paris. The Exchange programs with Hong Kong Polytechnic, Massey and L’École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, are specific to DEA and FSAD. The Exchange program with the University of New South Wales is open to all Human Ecology students.

Additional training in exercise science, fitness, or elementary education – Investigate the college's joint programs with Ithaca College and Wells College. If you participate in one of these programs, you should plan carefully early on in your studies to ensure that credits earned off "the Hill" contribute to your degree program. Create a graduation plan to fit in all of the courses you'll need at Cornell. Visit the Registrar pages for details and advice.
