More About Us
The College of Human Ecology has a long-standing involvement in international activities, including research programs in nutrition, human development, facility planning and management, fiber science, and policy analysis as well as educational exchanges with international universities and study-abroad programs.
Human Ecology continues to address global human needs in its programs. Our students need to be prepared for the globalization of their communities and work places and our instruction includes an international dimension. The undergraduate minor in Global Health is administered by the Division of Nutritional Science. Students from around the world are part of our diverse student body. Our faculty’s research, teaching, and outreach/ extension includes international foci. We have visitors, international scholars, and exchange programs with numerous international universities, corporations, and organizations. These efforts are embedded in the mission and programs of the college.

Research and Graduate Education
University of Nis Ergonomics Lab, Faculty of Occupational Safety; International Research Agreement. Initiated in 2009 to establish general terms and conditions to provide mutual cooperation in respective activities and exchange technical information and expertise.
Kyoritsu Women’s University
A cooperative agreement between the College of Human Ecology and Kyoritsu Women’s University in Japan was initiated in June 1997 with the goal of promoting mutual cooperation on education and scientific research. The agreement makes possible the exchange of educational materials and information and professors, research scholars, and students. It also facilitates joint research activities and the organization of joint conferences.
